About Jono Young

Originally from Texas, Jono completed his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Colorado at Boulder, majoring in Geography. Jono obtained his law degree from the University of Texas School of Law in Austin, where he was awarded the Dean’s Achievement Award for Excellence in the Study of Jurisprudence.

Jono spent the first several years of his legal career as a litigation defense attorney at firms in Austin, TX and Denver, CO. As a defense attorney representing insurance carriers, trucking companies, and individuals, he gained a keen insight for how defense attorneys and insurance companies evaluate injury claims and how successful plaintiff attorneys maximize the value of their clients’ claims. Ultimately, with a hunger to advocate for victims, Jono switched to the plaintiff’s side where he continues to work tirelessly on behalf of injured persons of all ages and walks of life.

In 2020,  he was recognized as one of the nation’s “Top 10 Under 40” personal injury lawyers by The  National Association of Personal Injury Attorneys, and most recently Jono has been named as one of the nation’s Top 100 attorneys by The National Trial Lawyers Association!

When not working, Jono loves spending time with his wife and two young sons in the beautiful outdoors, and particularly enjoys hiking, jogging, and playing guitar in his spare time.
