About Anastasia Evans
Anastasia Evans is a member of the litigation team at the Wilhite Law Firm. Her practice is primarily focused on personal injury matters. She truly enjoys the art of presenting a compelling case at trial.
Anastasia is originally from Eagle, Colorado. Although she loves the mountains, she chose to attend college in California, where she graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (“UCLA”) with a degree in Philosophy. She continued her education at Pepperdine University School of Law where she received a Juris Doctorate and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine’s prestigious Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. In law school, Anastasia received the CALI Award for Excellence for the Future for receiving the highest grades in community property, family law mediation, real estate transactions and government lawyering. Anastasia is licensed to practice law in Colorado, the United States District Court for Colorado and she is licensed but inactive in California.
Anastasia enjoys serving the community. While attending law school, Anastasia participated in a clinical program providing pro-bono legal services to victims of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual assault, and other gender-based crimes. Additionally, she interned at the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office, where she assisted in the prosecution of complex, gang related homicide cases. She is currently a member of the Colorado Legal Aid Foundation’s Associates Campaign, where she helps support fundraising efforts to provide pro bono legal services to underprivileged Coloradans.
Prior to joining the Wilhite Law Firm, Anastasia prosecuted criminal matters as a City Attorney for the City of Aurora, Colorado. As a prosecutor, Anastasia worked closely with victims of domestic violence and other crimes to pursue justice. She spent most days in the courtroom and performed over twenty trials, including many jury trials. Anastasia also worked as a family law attorney, where she advocated for children and families going through contentious divorces.
